Our Chocolate Creations

Ryan and I created a Chocolate Cheesecake for Emily's birthday.

Our Chocolate Creations

Being friends with the Chocolate Queen Raquel Choa and her Chamber Keepers definitely has its perks.  For one thing, they shower us with their amazing artisanal products.  Our favorites are the Unsweetened Cacao Powder, Melted Chocolate, Tsokolate Bars and Cacao de Bola from The Chocolate Chamber.

We love these because we can create several other yummy treats from them!  So here I share with you some of our Chocolate Creations.

Dark Chocolate Cheesecake

Ryan did the thick one, I did the thin one, through thick and thin!

Would you believe Ryan and I got the Chocolate Cheesecake idea from Geronimo Stilton?  So we finally baked, not one but two!  It was Emily's birthday.  The Melted Chocolate we got from Raquel was so rich and dark, very pure!  So we got the darkest chocolate cheesecake ever.

It had an equally dark Oreo Cheesecake Crust.  Then we sprinkled some grated Cacao de Bola on top.  No resto nor cafe could make it this good!

Milky Sikwate

We paired the cheesecake with Milky Sikwate (Filipino Hot Chocolate) using Raquel's Tsokolate Bars.  She suggested we pour 120 ml of hot milk into a thermo mug.  Dunk in the Tsokolate Bar, then shake until it melts.  Then pour into a cup to savor the rich chocolate drinking tradition.

Homemade Avocado Ice Cream with Cacao de Bola Sprinkles

I ordered some avocado from my friend Jingjing Mariño-Farrarons and they were the evergreen kind.  They were perfect for making homemade ice cream.  It was the first time for me to try it!

We sprinkled grated Cacao de Bola over them as a final touch.  A great idea from the Chocolate Queen herself.  Aaaah, heaven in a cup.

Dark Chocolate Crepes with Whipped Cream Cheese Filling

Now these were downright sinful!  I got the recipe from dear cousin Caroline Casing-Acuña, whose son Ace loves crepes.  And we now understand why!  Ryan and I still need a bit more practice.  The crepes were a tad too thick.  But who's complaining!

We rolled in some Whipped Cream Cheese Filling.  Then we drizzled some uber rich Chocolate Sauce using Raquel's Melted Chocolate.  The crepes were gone in seconds!  Yum-mmy!

We saved one for the next day, which was their first day of school - online!  So I delivered a half each to their rooms with a dollop of whipped cream cheese and chocolate sauce.  I added in some sliced apple to complete the plating.

If you want to order the products from The Chocolate Chamber, send a private message to their Facebook Page.  Call or text 09175561521 and 09176287661.
